I am a digital designer by profession with years of experience working on various projects. Currently working as an Online Content Developer for Officeworks – one of the largest retailers in Australia, I am part of the team maintaining the multi-million dollar e-commerce website. My role also involves creating & managing different promotional campaigns that take place at Officeworks. This exposure has helped me immensely to sharpen my skills in the area of digital design as well as online marketing. It also helps me to keep abreast with emerging technologies and different ways of using them to get maximum returns on investments.

Growing up I was never a great academic student but I developed strong interest in digital design leading me to pursue a Diploma in Multimedia and on successful completion of the course I worked as an instructor in a computer training institute to get some experience under my belt. Further hunger and fascination of design oriented career lured me to pursue tertiary education and I enrolled for Graduate diploma in Technology at Swinburne University of technology, Melbourne. Reaching that point I did not want to stop so I went on to complete a Master’s degree in technology (M-tech) in Dec ’04.

Whilst I was pursuing M-tech, opportunity came my way to apply the acquired knowledge to work as a web / graphics designer with a computer hardware reseller. This gave me high-quality exposure to commercial world as I solely maintained their entire website, after working with the business for two years my confidence was boosted and allowed me to take on bigger challenges. Since then I have worked in a range of design and content managerial roles in various industries and have also freelanced for small businesses offering creative input as and when the opportunity knocked my door. In this modern world where new technology is developed every minute, it’s hard for one to keep up but I try and keep abreast by having a pro-active approach to things I take up as it helps me handle multiple tasks with ease. The knowledge and experience acquired throughout my career has made me highly confident and the creative out of box thinking makes sure my designs are fresh & contemporary. I am passionate about my work and have a professional attitude with a tinge of humor.

Apart from digital design I love art in general, be it in a form of a painting, sketch or photography. As a person, I am easy going and fun loving with a good sense of humor (which is not always beneficial I've found out but I refuse to change).
