Officeworks Projects -- Working as the Online Content Developer for Officeworks I get to be a part of a team maintaining a multi-million dollars e-commerce website and at times I am also directly responsible for creating landing pages for various campaigns happening at Officeworks through out the year.

Intel has recently launched their 2nd Gen core processor, these new processors feature improved adaptive performance that adds speed when you need it and built-in visual capabilities for a better PC experience you can see.
Intel calls that visibly smart performance. You'll call it amazing.
This landing page is created to explain bit about these processors and also to promote Officeworks product range with those processors.

Media Players (campaign - June 11)
This is an interesting campaign to promote media players. Not many people know how simple it can be to view all your digital files via media players...no need to connect your computer to the TV anymore.
This landing page promoted in the latest tax time catalogue through a QR code showcases the widest range of media players Officeworks stocks.

Western Digital's pocket hard drives (campaign - May 11)
Officeworks is running a campaign to promote WDAA0500CS - Western Digital's pocket hard drive with unique and stylish cityscape graphic on a white background. Let's face it, hard drives generally come in plain colours but this one here is pretty funky with 500GB of storage capacity and its cheap as chips. The page is created mainly to focus on WDAA0500CS but also features accessories and other hard drives from Western Digital that Officeworks offers.

Coupling with 15,000+ products, Officeworks also offers lots of services. While the product pages are dynamically generated from the SAP catalogue, Services section has static content which is manually maintained by me using an inhouse developed CMS.

The About Us section is also manually maintained by me which comprises of sections like Corporate Responsibility (PR), Careers, Our Stores etc.

Acer ICONIA Tablet (campaign - May 11)
Officeworks teamed up with Acer to launch it's new Android based tablet series. Acer ICONIA TAB A500 was first of few in the series running Android 3.0 - aka 'Honeycomb'.
Given the unique & "special" product that it was, marketing it in the right way was very important to make high impact in a market where ipad has such a strong foothold.
The product was promoted in all channels - print, online, email. I was responsible for a landing page where all the traffic was diverted to showcase the features & benefits of the product. A brief was created for the design agency and after couple iterations, the design was finalised which was eventually developed into a SEO friendly page online.

HP ePrint (campaign - March 11)
Officeworks wanted to promote HP's ePrint series of inkjet & laser printer. The beauty of these printers is it allows you to print directly by sending an email to the printer's email address. So if you are away from office on a business trip, all you have to do is email your document to the printer and it will print for you. It doesn't require one to install software or drivers on your machine and works of tablets and smart phones as well.
I was requested to create a landing page for this campaign which was being promoted during in-flight entertainment on Qantas flights as well as at airports across Australia. After liaising with the stake holder, the design of the page was finalised and then created into a SEO friendly page.

Canon Printers and Ink & HP Printers and Ink (campaign - Feb 11)
Officeworks guarantees lowest prices everyday and they pride upon that so if you happen to find same product being advertised cheaper, they'll beat it by 5%. Based on this strategic pillar, Officeworks had a supplier funded campaign for printers, inks & toners. This campaign was promoted in print and on billboards, the landing page didn't require to be flashy with too much graphics or even content heavy. It was meant to be simple page with 10 - 12 products for the customers to choose from, but like every other page these ones also had to be SEO friendly and cross browser compatible.

Back to Uni (campaign - Feb 11)
Just after summer when students realise that it's time to go back to university, Officeworks ran a campaign promoting uni essentials and gadgets. Obviously the promotion was around buying products at the lowest prices so a simple product price landing page was created to make this campaign a success.

Kids Workspace (campaign - Feb 11)
Just after back to school period, Officeworks had this campaign for parents to setup space at home for their kids to be creative and get their homework done.

Logitech Mice & Logitech Speakers (campaign - Jan 11)
Officeworks has the widest range of Logitech mice. From reliable wireless to precise cursor control, you'll find the mouse you want. To promote this a landing page was created showcasing six different models of logitech mice available at Officeworks.
Similar to Logitech mice landing page, a page for speakers is also created showing features of top 6 speakers.

Data Storage (campaign - Jan 11)
It can be difficult to know which data storage and back up solution is right for you and your business, so at Officeworks we created this campaign landing page which simplifies it. Whatever the requirements of business, now and in the future, this page showed different sections leading to a wide range of hard drives to suit every need.
